Staffordshire is “… a County with a rich cultural heritage, world-class family attractions and stunning landscapes”.  So you won’t have to travel far to find plenty to see and do.

From the Grange B&B …
… you can set out along the bridlepath to walk through miles of unspoilt countryside.  We’re right on the tranquil River Blythe where you can spot woodpeckers, kingfishers and yellowhammers.

Within 15 minutes
… you can be in Uttoxeter, where you’ll find an excellent shopping centre as well as 10 pin bowling, leisure centre with swimming pool and a cinema.  The town is famous for its race course and there’s golf, paintball and go-karting within 2 miles.

Within half an hour …
… you can be enjoying the thrills and spills of Alton Towers, experience Victorian country life at Shugborough Hall or strolling through Trentham Gardens or watching the monkeys in the Monkey Forest. Cannock Chase is the smallest area of outstanding natural beauty in England and besides its 23 square miles of forest and heath land now has an award winning high wire forest adventure course - Go Ape.

Great Haywood is the junction point of the Trent & Mersey and Staffordshire & Worcester canals. You can walk over Essex Bridge to Shugborough or to Tixal Broads, get a view Tixall Gatehouse or visit the new boat marina with moorings for up to 200 boats. The village also has pubs, the Lock House restaurant coffee house and farm shop.

If you prefer towns, then visit Ashbourne - the Gateway to Dovedale, or Stafford the home of Isaak Walton - author of "The Complete Angler", or grab a ceramic bargain in Stoke’s Potteries.

Within an hour …
… you’ll be totally spoilt for choice!  Head north and there’s the Peak District with its walking and cycling trails, beautiful views and traditional market towns. Or head south to Lichfield with its historic Cathedral and home of Samuel Johnson, or to Tamworth for the Snowdome or Drayton Manor Park and Zoo.
