The Grange was originally built in the 1600s storing hay and grain. From the 1970s until the late 1980s it was used as a milking parlour for the farm’s cows. Conversion began in 2002, and we’ve tried to retain as much of the original structure as possible, painstakingly recycling and refurbishing the old stone and wood floors, oak beams and pine woodwork.
Now we can welcome guests to beautiful, newly-decorated rooms, all with wc and shower en-suite, tea and coffee making facilities and televisions.
The Grange sleeps up to seven people in two double and one family room.
Breakfast and other meals are served in our bright, attractive dining room, and afterwards you can sit and relax in our comfortable lounge. In the summer, you’ll enjoy long evening views over the garden and fields, while in the winter you’ll be warm and cosy in front of the wood burning stove.
There’s a good selection of board games, books and magazines to help you while away the time, or guidebooks and information on local attractions so you can plan another fun-packed day.
We are sorry but no pets are allowed nor is smoking in The Grange.
